and the needs of the record labels, artists, producers, DJs, and
audiophiles that are going to use it. From dynamic waveforms that
show you what parts of a track are warm and cold, to useful sales
reports that make accounting and calculating royalties a snap.
Thinking beyond pay-to-download
Letting your listeners pay to download tracks and releases is
essential, but why stop there? We make it easy to give listeners
more than just a hi-fi download; subscriptions let you push new
content directly to them. You control what content and when it
should be delivered. Entice listeners with access to pre-release
content, and even special subscriber-only content.
Fair and transparent—like it should be
No tiered plans, no monthly fees, no contracts, no minimum
charges, no check-out fees, no file “handling” fees,
and no bogus metadata in your downloaded files. You set the price
of your paid content, your listeners purchase it, we receive
15% + 25ยข per transaction, the rest goes to you.
Don’t stress over data
We want you to use Stepmix because it’s an exceptional,
bad-ass product with killer service, not because you’re
locked in and it’s too painful to leave. You always have
full unlimited access to all your data; sales, stats, downloads,
subscribers, and uploaded audio and artwork. You can access all
of this data using our API, and most of it is also easily
exportable in CSV format.
